I’ve been taking Shimelle’s Love Your Pictures, Love Your Pages online class and have learned SO MUCH! The photo in this page is from my Aunt, but I doctored it up in Photoshop using a texture. I’ve never done that before – love the result! I used my favorite new Ippity stamps and Tres Jolie line from My Mind’s Eye. It just all seemed to come together! I got the new stamps, I got the new stamps…can you hear the sing-song in my voice?
I felt like I wanted to go a bit au naturale today, so I opted for “A Little Buggy”, one of the Spring 2010 sets. It has the cutest caterpillar and geo trees! With the bold design of the tree, I knew it would look great heat embossed. I also distressed the edges quite a bit with the Tim Holtz Distressor and Distress Inks. The whole card took on a very organic look. Take a peek:
