Hello Ippity and Unity friends!
What did you think of the Ippity Summer 2010 release yesterday? Awesome isn’t it? I won’t have it in stock until early September, but if you would like to place a pre-order, drop me a line and I’ll throw in the shipping at no charge!
Today’s card is a little of a hodge podge with some new and some old embellishments. The new is the fabric – beautiful Moda fabric of BasicGrey’s Urban Couture line. The Play Date Cafe’s challenge of using dark brown, green and beige fit right into my plan!
With fabric on the card, I had to sew! The faux water in the vase is zig zag stitching! Oh, and the vase? That’s a greeting block from the “Just Wanted to Say” set tipped 90 degrees! See how useful Ippity stamps are??

Hi Everyone! Happy 1st Friday in August! Although I did not attend CHA, I heard it was a blast – can’t wait to start seeing some of the new items in the stores, how about you?
Can you believe the SUMMER 2010 IPPITY release sneaks are coming??
Today’s card is a mix of Ippity and Unity – I just LOVE those little birdies!!! The coloring and mood of the card is for this week’s Unity Addict’s Challenge (UAC12). A fellow stamper just moved back to the state from a short term move for her husband’s work. It’s so good to have her back in the state and among our fellow stamping friends! She loves bright colors and glitter, so this card reflects her. I wanted her to feel special when she gets this card.

Inchies – ever heard of them? They’re 1×1 inch squares of little artwork. You can use small images or large ones and punch out a 1 inch square from anywhere on the larger design. It’s fun because you see the world on a much smaller scale than normal!
Mojo Monday’s sketch #147 gave me a great opportunity to do an Inchie card using Ippity stamps. I had a lot of fun and like the look! Just imagine how many different variations you could do with this!

I just got the store kit from May and LOVE the solid flower images. They’re so pretty and a great size for the front of a card. I had to couple it with one of my favorite Ippity sets and sayings.
For the image, I colored the rubber with watercolor crayons, spritzed the paper with water, spritzed the rubber with water then stamped. Upon removing the stamp from the paper, I immediately zapped it with a heat tool to lock in the color and detail. A light spray of glimmer finished off the look – so classy and pretty!
