The last Monday of the month, May is around the corner! Can you believe it? Is it starting to get warm where you live or still cold? It’s warming up here in Florida nicely and I’m enjoying it fully!

With Earth Day last week, I wanted to be more “green”, literally. Last Monday I got Copic Certified and this is one item that I was playing with during class. The markers are SO fun, SO versatile and come in gorgeous colors. I couldn’t help but play with the branch image from the Devoted set. The leaves have their own “shading” as shown by the striped detail on the underside of the leaf itself. Cool! I don’t have to think about it much! I tossed in a little Spotlight Technique with the mini frame extending off the middle branch. Simple and GREEN!

I’m doing this Project 12 thing which is basically a 2-page layout summarizing what happened in the month. Becky Fleck provides a sketch which is VERY helpful and stands as a great starting point. I haven’t deviated too much yet from the sketch on the 2 that I’ve done so far because they’ve worked really well for me as is! Take a look and see.
