Gosh, has it really been 2 weeks since I last H{ippity} Hopped???? UGH!
Anyway, I’m baaaaaaaaaacccccccccccckkkkkkkkkkk! Stay tuned for more goodness this week!

I was feeling a bit in the holiday spirit this week! One of the first sets that I got was the Kissmas and Mistletoe set – still LOVE IT today! A recent challenge was to use pink on a holiday card, so here’s my version of it! I happened to hit the holiday ribbon sale at Michael’s too – how perfect is that ribbon with this image???
When embossing the image, I selectively applied different colored EP according to where I wanted the color. When you do this, start from the outside and work in. This technique works much better than doing it all at once.

Supplies:
Ippity stamps, IPK-101 Kissmas & Mistletoe
Ranger embossing ink
P K Glitz embossing powder
BasicGrey patterned paper
Prism cardstock
Michael’s ribbon
CPS sketch #161

I used a new set this week, Regal Greetings. I LOVE IT!! So pretty and I can’t wait to play with it more! I’ve seen the wonderful cards from other bloggers and have been itching to make a card with that set. I thought BasicGrey’s Scarlet Letter was the perfect backdrop, coupled with red ink. Elegant is the word that comes to mind!
Supplies:
Ippity stamps, IPK-111 Regal Greetings
Tsukineko ink
Prima bling
Spellbinders dies
BasicGrey patterned paper

Today’s card is a simple one. It uses pieces of scrap, simple stamping and a quick coloring with a Copic marker. I used one of Verve’s Spring Fling sketches as inspiration for this card layout – thanks Verve!
Supplies:
Ippity Stamps, IPK-114 Sweet Thoughts of Spring and IPK-115 Love in Return
Tsukineko ink
Stemma paper and ribbon

I’m using one of the original release sets, Simply Home. I haven’t used it much yet, so I thought getting some ink on it would be in order this week.
I stamped and colored the barn/house first. Can you believe the base paper was actually white to start? Then I masked the house and stamped the tree from the Straight From the Heart set. Colored that then stamped the greeting. Did a little doodling for the smoke coming out of the chimney. The sheep was stamped and heat embossed on a scrap and cut-out closely. The edges were inked with Distress Ink. The card was assembled, sewn and the sheep was added at the end. Voila!
Supplies:
Ippity stamps, IPK-102 Simply Home and IPK-105 Straight From the Heart
Ranger Distress and Tsukineko inks
P K Glitz embossing powder
Copic markers
My Mind’s Eye patterned paper
SC251 sketch from Splitcoast
