I was feeling a bit in the holiday spirit this week! One of the first sets that I got was the Kissmas and Mistletoe set – still LOVE IT today! A recent challenge was to use pink on a holiday card, so here’s my version of it! I happened to hit the holiday ribbon sale at Michael’s too – how perfect is that ribbon with this image???
When embossing the image, I selectively applied different colored EP according to where I wanted the color. When you do this, start from the outside and work in. This technique works much better than doing it all at once.

Supplies:
Ippity stamps, IPK-101 Kissmas & Mistletoe
Ranger embossing ink
P K Glitz embossing powder
BasicGrey patterned paper

I’m working on some 6×6 recipe page swaps – great to make a mini album in just a few short months! You never know when you could use a Shower gift or Holiday gift! This page is pretty straight forward and I can’t wait to make it!
How’d I do it?
- Print out recipe and trim to size. Adhere to lower right side of page.
- Stamp snowflakes from Kissmas & Mistletoe set with Versamark ink down the left side of the page.
- Stamp “JAN” using letters from the Alphabetically Adorable set with embossing ink, sprinkle on glitter embossing powder, shake off excess and heat to melt.
- Stamp “JAN” again, but a little offset from the original stamping, this time using Pink embossing powder. Heat to emboss.
- Stamp the house from the Devoted set with embossing ink on a scrap of cardstock. Take a pinch of Magenta embossing powder and sprinkle over the hearts in the chimney and door. Shake off excess – do not heat yet!
- Sprinkle Blue embossing powder over the rest of the image, shake off excess and heat to melt the whole image.
- Add strip of ribbon over the left side, attach with Mini Fastener. Tie a bow in ribbon scrap and add to the strip with a pop dot.
- Trim embossed house out, add foam tape to the back and adhere over the ribbon strip. Done!
